Η Εx Situ είναι αστική μη κερδοσκοπική εταιρία, που ιδρύθηκε το 2018, με στόχο την προαγωγή της σύγχρονης τέχνης εκτός των συνηθισμένων χώρων και διαδικασιών παραγωγής και πρόσληψής της. Οι δραστηριότητες της Εx Situ βασίζονται στην πεποίθηση ότι ο σύγχρονος πολιτισμός δεν είναι μόνον καλλιτεχνικά έργα, αλλά και ερευνητικές μέθοδοι, τρόποι συμπερίληψης και συνεργασίας, κατανόησης και ενίσχυσης του συνολικού πολιτισμικού αποθέματος. Η Εx Situ αναλαμβάνει πολιτιστικές παραγωγές εκτός των μεγάλων αστικών κέντρων, συνεργάζεται με τις τοπικές κοινότητες και δια της τέχνης προτείνει πλαίσια κατανόησης και ερμηνείας.

Ex Situ is a non-profit organisation, founded in 2018, with the aim of promoting contemporary art beyond mainstream exhibition and the established venues and processes of production and consumption. Ex Situ's activities are based on the assumption that contemporary culture is not only artworks, but also research methods, ways of including and collaborating, understanding and enhancing the overall cultural reserve. Ex Situ undertakes cultural productions mainly outside the major urban centres, collaborates with local communities and through art proposes frameworks for understanding and interpretation.
